Growers, farm managers and industry stakeholders are invited to a unique opportunity to engage with almond researchers at the ACE Orchard Research Walk 2025.

This event will feature a special presentation from María José Rubio Cabetas (CITA Zaragoza), an internationally recognised almond breeder, who will provide insights into Spain’s approach to breeding and how it compares to the Australian program.

Attendees will have the opportunity to catch up one-on-one with researchers who have trials at the ACE Orchard. The research walk will allow attendees to move semi-freely across the ACE Orchard providing opportunity to find out the latest from the following trials at the ACE:

✅ Evaluation of potential prunus rootstocks for almond production

✅Australian almond variety evaluation program

✅Cover crops for soil health and productivity

✅Optimising almond production systems

✅National tree crop intensification program

✅Evaluating self-fertile varieties in block plantings for almond growers
