The Department of Primary Industries and Regions South Australia (PIRSA) would like to invite South Australian industry growers and representatives to a workshop to share how pest birds affect their businesses.
PIRSA has a project to develop a bait for pest birds impacting primary industries and communities of South Australia. This includes feral species, like pigeons, and abundant native species, like corellas, which cause significant impacts to almond and pistachio growers.
Tea, coffee and a light snack will be provided.
Please bring along any evidence of bird damage in your orchard, including photos and videos.
