During winter the ABA is holding nutrition and irrigation workshops.  

The Nutrition Workshops aims to equip you with the knowledge, skills and tools necessary to optimise nutrient management practices. Thanks to Haifa and Stoller for their continued support. In addition, pre-eminent almond researcher Patrick Brown will present on the role of bio stimulants in almond nutrition and Dan Rooney will introduce LandScan, a new product enhancing on-farm decision-making. The technology appears to have groundbreaking characteristics for growers.  

The Irrigation Workshop series is again being supported by AgVic and Netafim and will include the following sessions:

• Basic Almond Skills Irrigation workshop
• Soil Moisture Monitoring workshop
• Irrigation System Drainage workshop

Growers who are interested in attending these events are asked to register their interest via the button below. These sessions are always heavily subscribed, so please book early to avoid disappointment, as there is a limit to numbers. The sessions combine theory with the practical, which has been very popular.
