Representatives from the Australian almond industry are invited to help develop a music playlist for harvest.

From February to April, workers spend long periods of time sitting in harvesting machinery, often by themselves.

Almond Anthems 2026 is being created to give our industry an entertaining playlist, while boosting mental health and wellbeing.

Growers and service providers can nominate up to five songs via the form at the bottom of this article, with submissions closing on January 23.

Last year votes were cast in all the key almond growing states, with Aussie rock, country, pop and many other genres making the list.

Taylor Swift’s hit Shake It Off featured on the inaugural Almond Anthems playlist, will songs from her new album The Life of a Showgirl feature in 2026?

This year several big acts have toured Australia, including AC/DC and Oasis, while Snoop Dog performed at the AFL grand final and Teddy Swims entertained the crowd at the NRL grand final, so it will be interesting to see if this has any influence on voting.

Almond Anthems 2026 will be available on Spotify in February.
