A great line up of international and national speakers have been secured for the 2026 Australian Almond Conference, in Adelaide from October 13-15.
The program for the three-day event has just been released, with proceedings kicking off with a pest and disease masterclass and a special series showcasing how Australian Almonds are being promoted globally.
The Almond Board of California’s CEO Clarice Turner and the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council’s chairman Ashok Krishan will speak at the conference for the first time.
Californian research focusing on root architecture and maximising growth potential, carbohydrate storage, and tackling soil-borne disease and soil disinfestation will be featured on the afternoon of Day 2.
The themes of water, bees and sustainability will be the focus for Day 3.
There will be opportunities for networking throughout the three days, with welcome drinks, the gala dinner and a Women in Almonds Breakfast.
Another highlight will be the gala dinner, where industry service awards are presented and growers are inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Comedian Peter Helliar will also perform at the gala dinner.
Early bird registration for the Australian Almond Conference ends on August 31.
