The Australian almond industry actual intake for the 2025 season has been calculated at 155,697 tonnes (kernel weight equivalent). This is slightly higher than the pre-harvest estimate of 155,531 tonnes issued in February, but almost 7500 tonnes below last year’s record intake of 163,148 tonnes and almost 10% down on the long-term crop forecast.

Australian almond sales figures for August continue to underline strong global demand. According to the Almond Board of Australia’s monthly position report, new season sales after six months remain 2% ahead of last year’s record volume.
